A Few Good Links

Interested in food photography? Check out this interesting NYT Dining section article and video called “Secrets of Food Porn Photos.” The Cliff Notes version: it’s all about lighting, and loving food. Welp, I’ve certainly got the loving food part down pat!

Speaking of food – I’ve been listening to this book on my Audible app and loving it! It’s so fun and charming. Full review to come!

Remember this interview I did with Kapito-Muller Interiors about the absolutely gorgeous Holiday House office they designed? If you loved it as much as I did, check out this article they wrote for Domino about it. I just love getting insight into how designers put together amazing rooms.

If you’re in NYC, a fantastic new restaurant opened recently on the Upper East Side called Pizza Beach. It’s really good! Get the crispy kale and butternut squash pizza…yum.

Sad to see Matchbook go, but I enjoyed browsing their departing “Best Of” issue. My favorite features: Kate and Andy Spade’s NYC apartment, Minnie Mortimer’s bookshelves (duh), and Nate Berkus’ NYC apartment.

Loren Hope has a lot of pretty new arrivals for spring. This bracelet is one of my favorites.

Love this charming New York in Autumn print from Rifle Paper Co. If I didn’t have literally way too many Rifle Paper Co. prints and NYC prints, I would definitely want to buy it.

I was so, so happy to see so much positive feedback on the new NYC Guide! I’m thrilled to hear that you guys are liking it and finding it useful. I’m extra excited because I’ve got a ton of great posts lined up for it in the upcoming weeks!

In case you missed this week’s posts due to technical difficulties with the redesign, check ’em out below:

Oh that restaurant looks so good. We should go! I love that Rifle Paper Co. print! I met someone who just moved to NYC and was looking for fun stuff to do – I told her to go to York Avenue Blog.

I found your blog earlier this week through your guest post on Stamp In My Passport and I’m loving it! Delicious! is one of my very favorite books so I can’t wait to read your take on it.
