Today I’m so excited to share an interview I did for a wonderful podcast called Look Like a Local. For each episode, host Joel Hiscutt features a different city and interviews a local to get their best tips on how to enjoy the hidden gems and little-known favorites that that city has to offer. I was super excited to participate and share all of my New York City favorites! We talked about my top shops, the hidden gems that I love in the city, places outside the city that I think are worth a visit (like Sag Harbor and Westbury Gardens), the best time of year to travel to NYC, and much more. Joel is such an awesome interviewer – he made it so fun and the questions he chose to cover are really unique and helpful for anyone planning a trip to New York…it’s not your same old, same old questions. I hope you’ll listen to the episode and let me know what you think! Feel free to peruse some of Joel’s other episodes as well – I think they’re super helpful for anyone traveling to these various cities. If you feel so inclined, you can also subscribe to the podcast or leave a rating or review!
You can listen to the podcast here – it’s Episode 025. You can also download it from iTunes by following this link. I hope you all like it!

Hey, I know your podcast was a long time ago but I recently found it on iTunes and has to look up your blog! I’m visiting New York City the week between Christmas and New Year’s Eve. Do you have any recommendations or tips for this time of year?
