Who else is excited to see Beauty and the Beast this weekend? I’m going on Sunday and I can’t wait! Also excited for brunch at Cafe Americano, a new-ish restaurant on the Upper East Side – I’m sure I’ll Instagram it so follow along over there and I’ll let you know how it is. Also a facial at Heyday on Saturday – I bought a package a little while back and they just opened a location on the UES! Love my ‘hood. Here are this weekend’s links – enjoy!
For anyone who is (rightly) suspicious of the ingredients in supplements and vitamins – love this idea.
A must read, especially for my fellow single girls out there: “I’m turning 40 this year. As such, I’ve been thinking a lot about what my life looks like from the outside, and what it feels like on the inside; about the choices I have made, and those I haven’t.”
The best bedding on the Internet (at a variety of price points).
My friend Will (who is the sweetest person, as well as a total blogging badass) was interviewed for the NY Times Style section! Go Will!
Anatomy of a well-styled bookshelf.
Thinking this top could be perfect for my upcoming trip to Puerto Rico.
Love the bold color in this New York apartment designed by Ashley Whittaker (also the loop chairs and the d. Porthault linens).
You’ll never believe what the secret ingredient in this delicious looking chocolate cake is.
Love the subtle gold print on this linen lampshade.
A gorgeous tea shop in Brooklyn.
Melissa Clark on Radio Cherry Bombe – love how passionate and enthusiastic she is about what she does.
Courtney wrote a really interesting post about the growth and evolution of her blog Color Me Courtney – a must-read for the bloggers out there!
A new tasting menu dessert bar in Flatiron – yum.
Pinning a lot of small space ideas over here – follow along if you’d like!

Thank you so much for sharing that Elle article–I’m turning 35 in a month, completely single and I will totally pick those books up. (I also love the Maureen Dowd quote that everybody doesn’t get everything–and when the author of the article describes the author of the book having a rich life of her own creation…I needed that!)
Thanks so much Heather – I thought the article was great and I’m glad it struck a chord with you.
Great links as usual. I was particularly interested in the article about styling bookshelves as I’m thinking of a major redo in my apartment to free up space that would require getting rid of some books shelves and re-aligning others.
Thanks! 🙂
Glad you liked it, thanks Gretchen! Always fun to play around with bookshelves 🙂
