If you’re looking for cupcakes in the West Village and you’re not in the mood to wait out the line at the original Magnolia Bakery, I definitely suggest checking out Molly’s Cupcakes. It’s a really cute place with a retro vibe – they play old music, they have wooden swings at the counter instead of bar stools, and they even have shelves of old board games for patrons to play with. Besides all of that though, the cupcakes are seriously delicious, with creative flavors like Butterscotch Caramel, Peach Cobbler, Cake Batter, and more. Over the summer I had their Spekuloos cupcake (which sadly, they don’t have currently) and seriously LOVED it.
On my last visit, I got their Apple Pie cupcake. The cake itself was really flavorful, and then inside, there was actual apple pie filling with real apples! Seriously delicious.
Molly's is soooo much better than Magnolia. Love their cupcakes!
I love Molly's Cupcakes!
