Back with Part II of my favorite scenes and designs from the 2016 Kips Bay Decorator Show House. Let’s get right to it! (and don’t miss Part I)…
Ladies Office by Phillip Thomas Inc:
This room was all about those graffitied walls. The best. It wasn’t a wallpaper or anything, it was actually upholstered walls that were spray-painted.
Love that rug.
Guest Bedroom by Olasky and Sinsteden:
This room I just loved. Something about it felt so English and cozy.
Great art, and great wallpaper. I loved the twin beds too.
Can’t hate on a cozy reading nook.
Excellent gallery wall.
I spy Cire Trudon…
Foyer by Benjamin Vandiver, with these cool pieces on the ceiling by Bradley Sabin:
Roof Deck by Hollander Design:
Outdoor space…every New Yorker’s dream.
Air plants.
Entry Hall by David Collins Studio:
The entry hall was very dramatic, with this amazing floral installation in the corner. The space was painted in Farrow and Ball’s Cooks Blue, and they added that amazing flooring and some very ornate moldings as well.
Another cool piece of art in a hallway:
That does it for this year’s Show House! If you’d like to check it out for yourself in person, hurry over asap because it’s only open through June 9. All proceeds benefit the Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club. And if you’d like, you can check out my posts on last year’s Show House (and its epic stairway gallery wall) here and here.
