A Few Good Links

I’m a little obsessed with interior designer duo J+G Design (I wrote about them here and interviewed them here), so I was excited to see Jennifer’s home tour on Lonny. The apartment, located in Manhattan’s South Street Seaport neighborhood, reflects her and Georgie’s design aesthetic – it’s contemporary mixed with traditional, refreshingly tailored, and full of beautiful, classic textiles.

Another obsession of mine? Sugarfina. Loving these pictures that Studio DIY took at their Pasadena location…so colorful!

What’s your favorite thing about early morning in your city? Ellie asked this question of me and other New Yorkers, and I enjoyed reading everyone’s responses. You can check out the post here!

Good motivation: this closet detox cheat sheet.

This coconut cream cake with peaches looks super yummy – I’d love to make it but I don’t have a springform pan…I wonder if I could do it without one?

I looooove this blouse! Fingers crossed it goes on sale at some point, because yikes.

I know everyone and their mom has read Gone Girl…but have you guys read any of Gillian Flynn’s other novels? I liked Sharp Objects (her first) but thought Dark Places was even better. Now it’s an upcoming movie starring Charlize Theron…looks appropriately creepy!

My current audiobook…really enjoying it so far!

Last but not least: do you guys watch Odd Mom Out? I’m not a big TV person at all, but this show is hilarious. If you’re at all interested in a Primates of Park Avenue-esque peek into the lives of Upper East Side moms, definitely check it out. It’s kind of wacky at times but really entertaining and funny.

Any fun plans this weekend? I’m really excited to go to ABC Kitchen (my favorite restaurant on the planet) with my family to celebrate my sister’s birthday, plus I’ll be grabbing brunch with a friend on Saturday at Jacob’s Pickles and maybe hitting up the Upper West Side farmer’s market for some summer produce. Hope you all have a good one!

I love that apartment! Exposed brick always looks so good. I’m driving out to explore Fort Worth for the first time and hit up a couple of popular restaurants!
