There’s a building right off Fifth Avenue that always catches my eye whenever I walk past. I don’t know what I love most…the amazing architecture, the iron fretwork, the topiaries on the tiny balconies, the blue-green details…it’s all just gorgeous and feels like a little piece of Europe right in the middle of NYC.

Nice to catch glimpses of these beauties when I never really notice them.

It's so refreshing to see pretty, historic buildings like this. Proof that classic character will remain strong despite rapidly changing times. Love it!
I completely agree Monica! These types of buildings make me so happy to see.

I wish more people talked about the architecture in NYC. It always takes my breath away. Maybe because I'm a fan of classical style.
I agree, there's so much beautiful architecture in the city. It's so nice to stumble upon it.
Gorgeous, gorgeous. I miss that old architecture – don't see that often in Nashville!
Beautiful!
Thanks Holly!
Where exactly is this? So beautiful!
It's east of Fifth Avenue on the Upper East side, somewhere in the low 70's I think…I forget exactly where.
What is the cross street of this building?
