Things I’ve Bought and Loved Recently

Rifle Paper Co. x Keds rainbow sneakers

How cute are these? So fun for summer! I don’t think I’ve had a pair of Keds since I was maybe 5 years old? I’m obsessed with anything rainbow basically so love these.

John Derian candle

I’m becoming quite the candle hoarder but I could not resist this one when I popped into the John Derian store in the West Village recently. The box is just. So. Pretty. And it smells great!

La Ligne Charlotte Tee

More rainbows! I saw this tee on a designer at the Kips Bay showhouse and when she told it was from La Ligne, which had just opened a boutique on Madison Avenue, I hightailed it right over there to get one of my own. I LOVE it! And how chic is their branding??

Camp: Notes on Fashion

I thought the Camp: Notes on Fashion exhibition at the Met was really fun, and the exhibition book is so, so pretty. They had a room that was all lit up in rainbow (more rainbows!), and all of these crazy fashions were featured in cubes (you can see a peek in the highlights on my Insta Stories). The book features all of these and gives insights into the history and many definitions of “camp.”

Euni + Co. Merci Card

I found this card at McNally Jackson (the joys of shopping in an actual bookstore!), and now I’m really into this company. Their cards are chic and minimal, and I love the typography.

Kayce Hughes mini // Corinne Bizzle mini // Josh Young Paloma portrait art

New art! I finally got my Kayce Hughes mini framed at a local framer in my neighborhood, and I love how the gold frame looks with the blue art. My Corinne Bizzle mini I sent off to Framebridge, and I think it looks great in the simple Irvine frame. I have two more pieces being framed with Framebridge and then I’ll be ready to work these into my gallery wall! I’ve also had this 16×20 Paloma portrait art sitting around forever while I was figuring out a place for it and how I want to frame it, so I’m getting ready to send that off to Framebridge as well.

Park Avenue Summer // Miracle Creek // Becoming

A few new summer reads! Becca Freeman mentioned Park Avenue Summer on Bad on Paper and it sounds really good – it’s being described as Mad Men meets Devil Wears Prada so I’m all over it. Miracle Creek sounds really intriguing and I’ve heard it described as a cross between a Jodi Picoult and Celeste Ng. And then everyone is raving about Michelle Obama’s book, so I’ve got that on the stack as well!

Hope you all had a great Memorial Day weekend!
