John Derian recently opened a new store in the West Village, and as you might expect, it’s absolutely lovely and charming. The perfectly imperfect space (an early 19th century Federal-style building) provides a fantastic backdrop for John’s signature whimsical decoupage pieces, which are handmade here in New York City. Creamy white Astier de Villate ceramics line the walls, while the back room is suffused with warm light and a selection of cozy, bohemian textiles. I’m excited to give you guys a little tour!
Aaaand I want it all.
Some good news for NYC locals – John Derian is having a sample sale for 3 days only, beginning this week at his East Village location at 8 East Second Street. The sale is May 10th, 11th, and 12th, from 11-7, featuring 30%-60% off select decoupage pieces and 25%-50% off select other merchandise. Let the treasure hunting begin!
