When I wrote my splatter paint post, I forgot to include these amazing splatter paintings that I spotted in Club Monaco a while back.
I love how they have the dropcloth under the mannequin’s feet-almost like that’s the dropcloth that they used while making the wall paintings. I’m a fan of that banded sisal rug as well.
I love that about Club Monaco: in addition to having amazing clothing, their stores are usually decked out with cool art and objects (especially their location on the Upper West Side in NYC). Nice decor improves the shopping experience, in my humble opinion.
Also, more splatter paint on these upside down umbrellas in Chelsea Market:
Why were there upside down umbrellas on the ceiling of Chelsea Market, you ask? Who knows?! It’s New York!

These are super cool–and I have a feeling they'd be very cathartic to make 😉

Thanks Lauren!
Thanks!
Thanks Alyssa! I know, I wish I could make one of these-but paint splattered all over my tiny apartment probably wouldn't be a very wise idea!
Loving the look of the splatter paint. Very eclectic and cool!
love splatter paint art – my sister does her own version of it (more like dripped paintings) – go to AlexandraBeck.com if you're interested!

Thanks Merritt! I just checked your sister's site and her work is gorgeous. I'm a huge fan of abstract art and your sister is clearly very talented at it, thanks for the heads-up!
