Over the weekend I was walking in Soho with my friend Alexis when the window display at Diptyque caught my eye. It was covered in whimsical illustrated lips, bags, hearts, and books in vivid shades of pink and red…so of course I had to check it out. Inside I found their newest collection for Valentines Day, a collaboration with Paris-based fashion designer Olympia Le-Tan. Together they developed the Rosaviola collection, the centerpiece of which is the candle. It’s pink and freakin adorable, sporting an embroidered, three-dimensional version of the iconic Diptyque medallion on a perfectly ombre’d pink glass vessel. I’m obsessed with it (scroll down for pics).
Best of all – there happened to be a gift-with-purchase situation going on at the store, so I also got all this other awesome stuff, including a ridiculously cute teensy-tiny mini version of their Roses candle. I suggest calling your local store or inquiring online to see if the gift-with-purchase is something you can get in on – I’m not sure if it’s just in stores or how long it’s running or what.
The Rosaviola scent, as the label suggests, reminds me of a mix between their Roses and Violette scents. Look at the embroidered medallion! I just. Can’t.

That packaging is so beautiful!
Those little extras are seriously adorable! I die over packaging design! That special edition candle does smell wonderful too!
