Ah, Christmas in the city – is there any better time of year to be in NYC? Last year I did no fewer than three Photo Essays on the Upper East Side’s holiday decorations (here, here, and here) – which I still might do this year, if I can find the time to get out there and really explore! Anyway, last Saturday I ventured down to the West Village to walk around and see what they had going on for the holidays. It was so much fun, and so festive – wreaths, garlands, and twinkle lights everywhere. Since I was in the West Village I also seized the opportunity to stop into Dominique Ansel Kitchen and try the cinnamon spun roll, which I’ve been obsessing over ever since seeing it on Instagram. So. Good. And look:
How cute are these little gingerbread men!

You have the best eye! Was that Carrie’s house in Sex in the City? Also, the ornaments in the planter are so whimsical.
Thanks Elana! Nope, actually didn’t photograph Carrie’s stoop…but there were people taking pics in front of it, as per usual! I think it was decorated too π
