Glass water bottles are obviously great because they’re better for the environment (duh), and they’re BPA free (no weird plastic chemicals leaching into your water). The silicone sleeve is dishwasher safe and helps protect the bottle from breaking, while also making it easier to grip (thus less likely to drop and break). My current Takeya water bottle is pretty small but actually quite heavy, which is one downside. Part of me thinks I should buy a 500 ml size instead of the liter, so it would be easy and convenient to just slip into my bag…but that’s not really enough water to justify lugging a water bottle around all day…so not really sure which to get. #firstworldproblems.
If anyone has a bkr water bottle (especially the liter size), I’d love to hear a review! Heavy? Easy to tote around? Easy to wash?
So cute! I love them. This colour is perfect. I'm not sure what size would be better!
ah I've been wanting one of these too! that pink color is just so pretty 🙂
You should ask Nagmeh (find her on blogspot/twitter – Fashionista Bubble), she's doing their beauty challenge right now and has the water bottle!
I love this so much!

I would love to hear more about these water bottles too! I tend to drop my water bottles a lot, and I would love to know how they hold up.
I have the smaller one (I don't think there was the liter size when I got mine or I would have gotten it). I love it, though i do think the cap it a bit harder to clean than it could be. I only drink out of it at home though, it is fairly heavy.
I thought that it might be. Thanks Dana!
Well… never seen this bottle before, just wanted to say you have a brilliant blog 🙂

I have a glass water bottle (not from bkr) and I really love it. It's inspired me to drink more water throughout the day. Love the pink color of this one.

Pretty color
I think you should get one just because it is adorable.
Hah, good point Rebecca. I like the way you think 🙂
I have the smaller one and I love it! It's the perfect size to throw in my bag for the day. I totally recommend it!

Hi Jackie! Have you ever heard of The Doctor's Closet (blog)? She loves these bottles and sells them on her pop up shop website (shopmonika). They seemed to be a big hit and lots of positive reviews 🙂
I have one of these- the 500ml in "Pool", a bright, vibrant blue. The 500ml is small, but the 1L was just too large to put in my purse- and when filled with water it was HEAVY. So I purchased the smaller one and I am really happy! It's cute, practical, and difficult to break. I have dropped mine a few times and it is still in one (uncracked) piece 🙂
That's great Diana! The smaller one is probably the more portable choice it sounds like. Thanks for letting me know, glad to hear it's such good quality!
I have a few of the 500ml bottles. I use them at home, at the office, at the gym and when I'm running errands. I refill often because I'm a major water drinker (minimum 3 litres a day). I've seen the 1 litre bottles but they're just way too big and I like refilling my bottle often as the water is fresher that way. Another thing that I love about the 500ml size is that it fits my car cupholder. If your heart is set on a pale pink one, try Bubble, Kitten or Cupcake in the 500ml size.
Thank you Chloe! Everyone seems to agree that the smaller size is better so I definitely think that's the way to go.
I know this is an old blog post, but I had to comment when I came across it. I love this water bottle. I've been using the smaller one for a few months and I'm about to get the liter size for my desk at work. Its easy and great to drink out of, no slippage picking it up or putting it down, they look great, and the lid is super sturdy and secure. I always get compliments on it and my friends are always surprised I can fit it in my small over the shoulder bag. Get one if you haven't already! I got mine at Bliss Spa's online store, but you can get them everywhere now. I did notice they recently raised the price by $2, but I still think its worth it.
