Do you ever see a place on Instagram and it’s all blush pink and florals and gorgeous typography and delicious looking food and you’re like “I have to visit, YESTERDAY at the latest”? No? Just me? I’m sure some of you out there can relate! That was how I felt when my friend showed me Blank Slate Tea and was like hey this is cute! I was like, I’m going tomorrow.
Blank Slate Tea Room is an offshoot of Blank Slate cafe, with a focus on teas of all stripes. They’ve got iced, hot tea, tea lattes, matcha, assam, chai, you name it – as well as a menu of healthful, seasonal food items which just happen to be super beautiful as well. Case in point – pink hummus toast, a blueberry lavender waffle, and the gorgeous matcha yogurt bowl you’ll see below.
The pretty pink and gold space was designed by X Wallflower.
I tried a rose tea latte and the aforementioned matcha yogurt bowl – funnily enough I’m not normally the biggest fan of rose in food OR matcha, but I thoroughly enjoyed both of these!
