In case you missed it on Instagram, my studio apartment is featured on Brit + Co. in their Tiny Spaces video series! So very exciting! The video was produced by Hudsun Media and they did an absolutely amazing job. We filmed it way back in March and I’ve been so nervous to see how it would come out, as this was my first time doing video and I was SUPER nervous! I’m really happy with it, though of course I’m thinking of a million ways I could have done “better” – we’re always our toughest critic, right?
Thank you times one million to everyone who left a nice comment on Instagram – you guys are the best and so supportive, and it’s just amazing. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend and I’ll be back with a weekend post tomorrow!
Jackie! You are GREAT on camera!! Love this so much, and want to take today off to do more with my apartment (specifically, color code my books…I get this itch every time I see your bookshelf!).
This came out so awesome Jackie! You and the apartment look fantastic!
You did a wonderful job in the video! I thought you seemed quite relaxed. I love your gallery wall and it was nice to see it in the video.
Yay, I guess I hid my nervousness 🙂
CONGRATULATIONS!
Thank you so much!
Woohoo You sounded great and everything is so beautiful. Well done.
Thank you Karen! xoxo
Wow, is all I can say!’

Thank you Charlotte!
I have the exact same IKEA bookshelf divider but mine is natural in coloring and not white. Great mind s think alike I see.
So good for studios…I didn’t even realize they made an off-white one, very cool!
I stumbled upon your blog while browsing Pinterest and was having a tough time finding blogs that featured apartments similar in space/structure to my own, when I found we have the same exact apartment. I’ve been inspired by how you’ve really made your space your own. There’s so many different colors but it all comes together really well, really makes me rethink my decision to make my space so monochromatic. Thanks for sharing!
That’s so sweet Nikki, thank you! You’ve got me thinking…maybe I will write a post about incorporating color into a small space while keeping it cohesive. Have a great weekend!
Where did you find those great gold sconces? I’m currently looking for something similar for my NYC apt!
Hey Laura! Sorry, which gold sconces? The swing arm wall lamp? That’s from here: http://www.lampsplus.com/products/robert-abbey-koleman-brass-plug-in-swing-arm-wall-lamp__u2414.html
Love all the colorful books!

Hi Jackie,
Love your apt! So bright and well done! I tried to find the book case at IKEA-can you tell me what the name of yours is? Thanks! Susan
Thanks Susan! It’s the Ikea Kallax, they just changed the name: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/10275862/#/30275861
I have this exact room divider – only mine is in the natural color.
You seriously have my dream studio apartment style! I love every last detail of your place!
