I’m so proud of my friend Roxy of Society Social – SS turned five yesterday! How impressive is she? Not only is Roxy a talented furniture designer, stylist, photographer, and businessperson, she’s also an all around sweet person and incredibly gracious host who throws the best parties. Case in point: last night’s soiree for Society Social’s birthday, where the celebrating included SpikedSeltzer (yum, how did I not know that was a thing?), sparkling rosé, macarons, and basically everything bright, pink, and beautiful. I loved seeing the latest iteration of the 73 Spring Street studio, featuring SS furniture and accessories (obvi), along with new art and 2017 calendars by Inslee, and gorgeous florals by FTD Flowers. Check out the festivities after the break!
A packed house – everyone excited to celebrate SS in style! By the by, I met Jane Lilly and totally fan-girled out. She was super nice!
Society Social furniture, sittin’ pretty. Last night was also a celebration of Roxy’s fifth Society Social furniture collection, which comes out soon…it is so, so good!
I love their mantle – remember when it was all decked out for Christmas?
Strawberry shortcake and champagne macarons from Dana’s Bakery.
Inslee had a series of her signature nudes in new washed out hues – just lovely.
2017 calendars on display.
2017 calendar girls!
Inslee painted everyone who wanted an illustration – dream come true! I promise to show you mine soon (I’m writing this at midnight so I can’t take a pic of it now). Suffice it to say, she made me look like a much more well-rested version of myself!
Congratulations to Society Social on turning five! I’m so excited to see the newest furniture collection come to life.
