Well, it’s back to reality after a long, great trip home for the holidays. There was family time, presents, vegging out, and LOTS. OF. FOOD. Here are a few shots that I snapped over the break:
The J. Crew bag I got my Mom for Christmas-I love it! Hopefully she liked it too 🙂
Couldn’t resist making stars out of the lights on my parents’ Christmas tree-a technique I learned in photography class!
We have a little family tradition of making a turkey dinner around Christmas. Here’s my Mom’s well-loved stuffing recipe. Best stuffing ever!
There was sweet potato pie, cranberries, Brussels sprouts….
Stuffing in the making.
Delicious turkey, cooked to perfection.
My Dad made make-ahead gravy from The NY Times….so incredible. Highly recommend!
And THIS for dessert. Homemade birthday cake (for me!)…heaven. Recipe coming to the blog soon! (See, I wasn’t kidding about a lot of food!)
Beautiful peel-y tree.
Like an English garden…so lovely.
Little deer.
Pretty chandelier.
Paris rooftop print from Etsy.
Society Social Lolita Rattan Club Chair…comfy and gorgeous!
Hope you all had a great holiday, and hopefully some time off work!
