Life, Lately: March

All I’ve heard is fantastic things about it, so I’m excited to try Donna Tartt’s The Goldfinch. I’m a little hesitant, since it’s 700 pages (does any book really need to be that long?)…but all of the rave reviews online have pulled me in!
Also ordered this on Amazon. I absolutely love psychological thrillers about strange happenings and creepy houses, so this is right up my alley. It seems to be something of a classic as well, so I have high hopes for this one.

So psyched for Domino’s gorgeous new issue. I’m about halfway through and it’s just full of great design eye candy. Plus it’s just so darn pretty!

Been on a bit of a Laduree kick again lately. I couldn’t resist this adorable Soho box that they put out to celebrate the opening of their new tea salon downtown. I wish I had a picture of all the macarons I’ve been eating but unfortunately I devoured them before I got a chance to snap one. Also one day I need to get around to posting my Laduree box collection…it’s pretty extensive and I’m kind of in love with it.

I was SO psyched last weekend to spend the day with Daisy of the blog & Pretty Things. It’s so fun to meet other NYC bloggers and we had a great time eating yogurt at Chobani Soho (a place I’ve been dying to try), feeding my macaron obsession at Laduree, and sipping lattes at La Colombe, a great coffee shop on Lafayette. Daisy is so awesome and it’s so great to meet someone who shares the same interests. And if you’re not already, you must follow her on Instagram – her photos are the best.

So happy that February is gone and March is here. I know everyone’s been saying it, but this winter has been the worst I can ever remember – not the snow, but the utterly freezing temps. I cannot WAIT to go outside and not be in pain, and I’m so sick of my puffer coat that I’d really like to just throw it in the garbage. Bring on the spring!

Speaking of which, I’m loving these spring-y sandals from J. Crew.
Also this top. I love mixed media shirts like this, and I’m a sucker for tiny florals.

I came to this blog by way of apartmenttherapy.com after I fell in love with the tour of your studio. I use to be an UES girl myself, for about 6 years, but last year I moved back to Florida. I love seeing your pics from around the old neighborhood!

By the way, where did you get that calendar on the desk?

    • Thank you Laura! I'm so happy to hear that, and hope you're enjoying Florida. The calendar is from Sugar Paper. Thanks for reading!
