Checking In + Exciting News!

First of all, I wanted to say a quick sorry for being a spotty blogger lately! Life, ya know. So many things I want to do (like blog, plus a million other things) and need to do (like, clean my apartment, and a million other things), and yet all I really want to do lately is curl up in my sherpa blanket and read. Which I have been doing a lot of lately, which is great if you saw my to-read pile on Instagram stories (it’s big!). But anyway, I have lots I want to share here, including a peek at a big photography job I did last year and haven’t posted here yet, plus the rest of my Paris pictures, especially from Versailles (sneak peek above)…but to be honest, posting might be a little less consistent around here than it was, for the foreseeable future. I’ll still be posting, but just not as regimented as I was last year – hope you all don’t mind!

ANYWAY, I have some exciting news to share and I’m just bursting and can’t hold it in – I just booked another trip to Paris for May 2017! Ahhh!!! My sister is going to be in Milan for a business school trip so my parents and I are going to go over and meet her in Paris afterwards. Kind of hilarious that I haven’t even finished posting my pictures from the first trip (which I had originally intended to have posted within like, a month of the trip), and I already have plans to go back…never in a million years at this time last year did I think that would happen. Prior to last year’s trip to Martinique which I won in a contest (!), I had only left the country once, in high school – that was over ten years ago. Now I’m going to Paris for the second time and daydreaming about making another European trip (Copenhagen, perhaps?) happen in the fall.

I’m so, so happy to have something so wonderful to look forward to. Springtime in Paris – I have visions of pink blossoms and croissants dancing in my head. I hope you’re all having a wonderful start to the new year and staying warm…look out for more Versailles pictures soon!

xoxo

  5. I learnt the hard way that spring in Paris means 5 degree celsius weather, incessant drizzle and strong winds. 🙂 Despite that, I had a wonderful time in Paris a couple of years ago, and would love to visit again! As they say, Paris is ALWAYS a good idea!

    I’m sure you’ll have a wonderful trip!
