A Few Good Links

Did anyone see Get Out? I was hearing so much buzz about it that I took off early from work and went to see it with my friend on Wednesday. It was really good – great performances from everyone but especially Allison Williams and Daniel Kaluuya…thought-provoking, with a few scares. Really good. Also saw Beauty and the Beast last weekend – so good! You gotta see it.

This weekend I’m excited for a movie night with a few friends on Saturday (for which I was thinking about making this – I mean, omg), and then I’ll be spending Sunday getting caught up on a million things and packing before heading out to Puerto Rico on Tuesday! As you can see above, I’ve got palm trees and dusty island colors on the brain :). Hope you have a great weekend and here are this week’s links:

Love this cool (and chic) bottle opener – I’ve never seen one like it.

I cannot with this Kelly Wearstler piece – it’s too freakin’ cool. A work of (painfully expensive) art.

Sketching all the restaurants in New York.

Slightly obsessed with the unique strap situation on this pretty summer frock.

This watermelon print is so cute for summer.

A candle that slowly reveals hidden artwork as it burns down.

These photos of spring in France and London make me so excited to go back to Paris!

On a related note, dying over this exhibition! I seriously want to go.

I’m learning about lighting in my design course, so I was interested to come across these lighting tips.

Vanilla cake…’nuff said.

Super soft sheets, on sale (seriously, it’s like sleeping on a cloud).

So psyched for Nate and Jeremiah’s new show on TLC – it’s a mix of working with people on design and home renovations, plus glimpses into their life at home with their adorable baby girl Poppy. Can’t wait!

Millennial pink…I’m on board.

I’ve had bad luck with eye creams (they always seem to irritate my eyes), but I might try this one that Meghan recommended. The ingredients are super high quality so possibly less harsh?

Thanks so much for including my post!! I have used two of Tata’s eye creams and loved them both (I too have issues with many) so let me know if you end up trying hers out!

    I didn’t know Millennial Pink was a thing…but I do love it!

I have the same problem with eye creams. I’ve used Tata Harper and One Love Organics (more wallet friendly) and both didn’t irritate my eyes. Good luck!

Great links as usual. I plan to purchase some of those beautiful candles as gifts this year. Such a beautiful and novel idea.

The Spring photos of Paris and London are making me want to go back as well. I just left London two days ago and am going through the common withdrawal many traveler’s experience upon returning home from such a fabulous place. I miss it so much already and trying to figure out how I can do a combined Paris/London trip within the next year.

I’m totally psyched about the new Nate Berks design show. Thanks so much for the heads up on that.

And I added a couple of millennial pink items to my Amazon shopping cart so thanks for that article as well.

Have fun on your trip to PR.
