Hello from the 8th arrondissement!
We arrived yesterday after an overnight flight and hit the ground running – walking the Champs-Elysees, observing the crazy traffic patterns around the Arc de Triomphe (and witnessing a few near-death experiences in the process), then heading to the Tuileries and walking along the Seine for a bit. I’m so, so happy to be back here again! It’s going to be crazy hot in Paris this week (help!) and we have a lot planned – be sure to follow along on Instagram as I’m sure I’ll be sharing a bunch on Stories!
Even though this week was kinda crazy with working, packing (both for moving and for this trip), and dealing with boring moving logistics like scheduling Con-Ed to turn the lights on in the new apartment, and then fleeing the moving box madness, I still managed to come across a bunch of good reads – hope you enjoy!
I’m now officially dying to go Amsterdam thanks to this gorgeous travel guide from my favorite interior designer, Alyssa Kapito.
The bedroom makeover I did for my sister was featured on the Joss + Main blog this week – you can see it here!
Just sort of discovered this museum – has anyone been? I’m dying to visit now!
Love this blush off-the-shoulder top on Grace.
Can’t wait to visit this charming new Brooklyn bookshop.
I wrote a piece for Khoolect on my favorite brunch spots in the city – you can check it out here!
This ruffled one-shoulder top looks so chic and unfussy.
Some great tips on transitioning your home into the warmer weather.
Love the trim on this cardigan – reminds me of my favorite Clu sweatshirt.
Has anyone tried Margaux flats? They look pretty and the custom fit options sound intriguing.
This skirt is so cute for summer – picturing it with a drapey white muscle tank and sandals.
A peek at author J. Courtney Sullivan’s bookshelf.
I brought this top to Paris with me (in white) and I can’t wait to wear it – so cute and the fabric is really nice.
Also brought this and I’m glad I did, seeing as it’s going to be 97 degrees this weekend…pray for me. #heatstroke
Soo happy and excited for my friend Will’s big purchase (and can’t wait to follow along on the decorating process, both inside and out!).
Have a great weekend, everybody! xoxo
Jackie, thanks for linking to my post! Enjoy Paris!!!!
Thanks Grace! xoxo
I hope you are enjoying Paris despite the crazy heat! I can’t wait to hear about your adventures when we meet.
