I took my camera down to the West Village a few weekends back and spent some time just wandering around, exploring a bit, and snapping photos (pretty much my ideal type of day). I ducked into the most charming and cozy bookstore of all time, Three Lives and Company, to escape from the chill and browse for a new read (also to regain the feeling in my fingers-it was cold!). I picked up this book, which I was surprised and delighted to discover after reading and loving this one. The next day I came back to the area with my sister and we had brunch at Jeffrey’s Grocery, which I highly recommend – they gave us house made ginger snaps for a little post brunch dessert, which I’m now determined to try to recreate at home! Ah, I love the West Village. It is just so beautiful and is really a little haven away from the city buzz! Awesome pictures
Love these! Thanks so much for sharing. I have never been to NYC but hope to go someday.
