J. Crew Wintress Puffer Coat | J. Brand jeans | J. Crew flats
Not sure what’s going on in other areas, but right now in NYC-it’s COLD! So I’m incredibly glad that I picked up this J. Crew Wintress puffer at the beginning of the season. I wanted it last winter when my old TJ Maxx puffer finally broke (as in, the zipper, which never really worked, finally got stuck to the point that I needed to climb in and out of the thing)-but it was all sold out. So this year it was one of the first things I snapped up. It’s SUPER warm, yet incredibly lightweight, and I like that it’s navy instead of basic black. I also love that it has a belt to help give it a bit of a feminine shape (since puffers usually tend towards the shapeless and rectangular). The other detail I love:
The little thumb hook things (is there a name for those?). So cute! Whenever I put this coat on I never want to take it off-it’s like being bundled up in a big cozy blanket.

I tried to order one last year too, but my order got cancelled because it was sold out. I have a gross old puffer from college that desperately needs to be replaced. Post Christmas sales, this is the top of my 'need list'!

I've noticed that too but I have no idea how to fix it.
I just got this coat too! But I think i picked it up one size too big, it's swimming on me. I like it so much though that i might just cinch the belt extra tight and deal with it! Happy holidays 🙂

Love this! What size did you get in your coat? This is sold out but it might help me decide what size to get in JC's long belted puffer.
I got a Tall Small! J. Crew runs kind of big I tend to think. Hope that helps!
