I’m pretty obsessed with a lot (a lot a lot) of Kelly Wearstler’s stuff, but this ceramic Pop Bowl is high on my love list. Talk about a conversation piece! It’s like some kind of weird glamorous creature from outer space, and I basically can’t get enough of it. Here it is in action in Michelle Adams’ old NYC apartment:
And I mean, we don’t even have to talk about the fact that this room is just perfect, because everyone already know it. Between the Scalamandre Pyne Hollyhock (which you can see reflected in the mirrored dresser drawers), the leopard lamps, the black and white striped tray, the lucite jewelry holders and even all that fantastic jewelry…it’s painfully good. ANYWAY, as you can see Michelle used the bowl as a vase, which is pretty cool. Me, I would just put it smack dab in the middle of my dresser or coffee table and marvel at it each and every day. It happens to be prohibitively expensive, but I’m thinking I might need to just suck it up and start saving my pennies, because seriously. Writing this post has only fueled my obsession.
