I found my new dream bed. It’s scrolly, it’s Victorian, it’s iron, it’s perfect!
On the Anthro site it says the bed was inspired by a vintage garden gate, which makes me love it even more. How charming. It inspired me so much that I decided to put together a little room around it:
Anthropologie Calcite Crystal Lamp Base // Plum and Bow Polka Dot Curtain // Pottery Barn Faux Fur Throw // West Elm Stump Side Table // Caitlin Wilson British Bouquet Pillow // Stone Textile Woven V Pillow
I love how in the original Anthro pic they juxtaposed the romantic femininity of the bed with a rustic wooden side table, so I went with the West Elm stump table that I’ve lusted after ever since it was released. I think the Nightingale duvet in the Anthro pic is great too, and would look lovely with an incredibly soft and cozy faux fur throw tossed on top. The quartz lamp is just too good, I can’t even stand it, and then for pillows I like one very girly floral mixed with one edgier black and white option. The curtains have a very subtle polka dot pattern , so they basically work as neutrals without being boring. All in all, a lovely bedroom that I would be very happy to call my own!
Keep up with York Avenue!

Me too! I've always loved the romantic feel of iron beds, definitely my favorite style.
That headboard/iron detailing is gorgeous! I really wish I had a headboard on my bed..sigh
So I basically want it all! Those lamps are awesome and the tables! My husband and I are in the middle of trying to make stump tables and I'm hoping they come out like those.
Oh my gosh it's beautiful! Anthro has the best beds!

Ooh, pretty!
That is so cool! Let me know how they turn out-that's an impressive undertaking!
I will! It hasn't been the easiest project given our small space.
Mixing the different textures on the bed sounds amazing! Love the idea of a fur throw on top of a duvet full of ruffles!
