I have an obsession with lacy white tops, so when I saw this look on Olivia Palermo, I immediately fell in love with it. It’s basically perfect, but a little too dressed up for my life (I have a very casual life-not much call for little white lace dresses!). Later I happened to be looking around on Aritzia when I spotted a lace top that seemed like a dead ringer for Olivia’s dress. It gave me the idea to take the concept that she executed to perfection, and create a dressed down version of it that’s more in alignment with my lifestyle:
