Club Monaco’s new December arrivals dropped into my inbox yesterday morning…and that is not a good thing for my willpower, or my credit card. Three things jumped out at me (well, two of them are the same shirt in different colors):
Instead of buying them, I figured I’d style them up for the blog. You’re welcome, credit card!
All this outfit needs is a thick pair of opaque black tights and it’s good to go! I love the idea of combining that gorgeous lacy J. Crew skirt and the feminine top with edgy booties and the rugged sherpa-lined parka, to keep it all a little downtown. That’s my favorite way to wear an army green jacket (of which I own an abundance)-with my most feminine pieces.
I love the black-on-black-on-black of this outfit, with the dots and herringbone and leather details adding pattern and texture. And those glitter heels-pure fantasy, as I would clearly break my ankle in them. But I mean, they’re pink, they’re confetti strewn, they’re sparkly-they’re my dream shoe!
This outfit would make me feel really put together and sleek. I love the pattern on that top-it looks just like the night sky, and I like that’s it’s a dark navy/indigo to break up all of the black. The pattern is more subtle than sparkles, but just as striking and festive.
