Amanda Nisbet is a designer whose work I’ve really come to admire. Her home tour was recently featured on the One Kings Lane blog, and it’s full of her signature touches: bold colors, unique lighting and accessories, and rich fabrics along with lots of great texture. She creates bold rooms but also has a knack for light, fresh, and airy spaces. Check out my favorite of her designs after the jump!

I love this gorgeous, light-filled space, but really my favorite part are those amazing stools. That wood is too perfect and the shape is very unique.

I love the fresh blues used throughout this space, including on the back of the built-in bookshelves.

Ahhh…I can practically feel the fresh breeze and sunshine.

So soothing.

This is a room that Amanda did for a Kips Bay Show House, which I actually saw way back when. It’s bold and glamorous, full of lush textures and wonderful architectural details. And I mean, that wallpaper.
