Club Monaco recently opened up a re-designed flagship store on Fifth Avenue, and it’s absolutely gorgeous. The best part of it is, they don’t just sell clothing. They have an outpost of The Strand Bookstore nestled inside, where you can browse large fashion and photography tomes, as well as some rare books and contemporary novels. Right next to the little fireplace seating area is a floral shop full of lovely blooms, and in the next room over, there’s a coffee shop! So fun. I’d like to move in, please.
Fab light fixtures and herringbone floors in the dressing room.
Killer window displays.
photos by me and my sis…mix of my old point and shoot, new DSLR,, and iPhone, so please excuse the inconsistency!
Ah, I can't wait to go to NYC and see this! I love how it's so unlike their other stores yet still so classic, plus…those topiaries are gorgeous and I want one! ha. This is probably a good place to browse and not buy, too, since there are enough pretty things to admire in the decor alone. Thanks for sharing π
You're so right, Monica! That's a great way of putting it. It's totally classic but unlike any other store experience. And I agree, even though I didn't buy anything it's still a completely fun place to browse and just soak in the decor. Exactly what I need right now!
Cute idea for a shop! Maybe if I come to New York some day I will visit …. but then again your pictures are so great I have a feeling I'm inside the shop when seeing them! This is Christina from fauxbilicious.blogspot.com, nice to meet you!
