In the past I’d always noticed Archipelago candles due to their distinctive, colorful packaging, but I’d yet to ever try them out. So, I was psyched when the incredibly kind folks over at Archipelago offered me a few samples to try! I chose two of their soy candles: the Luna (Lemon Verbana, Lavender, and Thyme), and Enfleurage (French Jasmine, Lily of the Valley, and Rose). The soy candles are hand-poured and burn for sixty hours, which I think makes them a really good value. The fragrances are light, lovely and not overpowering. I especially loved the Luna, because I associate the scent of lemon with things being fresh and clean (probably a holdover from my childhood when Lemon Pledge meant the house had just been cleaned). Each candle came with a cute little set of white-tipped matches too, which I thought was adorable.
Aside from how good they smell, I also love that the soft, serene packaging allows the candles to blend seamlessly into my decor and look lovely and neutral wherever I put them…since I think it’s pretty obvious by now that nothing gives me quite so much pleasure as styling and re-styling my space! And these gorgeous candles look perfect and spa-like everywhere I put them.
I definitely recommend Archipelago if you’re a candle fan (they also have all sorts of bath and body products). And if you live in the city you can check them out at Gracious Home, which is where I noticed them in the first place.
Candles were provided to me free of charge from Archipelago. However, this is not a sponsored post and all opinions and photographs are my own!
