I’ve known about Jill Rosenwald’s colorful and charming ceramics for a while, but recently she’s created some pieces that I’m truly in love with. Especially that bowl and the gold drip tray…just perfection! Stripes, brushstrokes, and drips…gold, black, and white – so good. Don’t they all just look like they belong in my apartment :). Every piece made in the Jill Rosenwald studio is thrown by hand on a potter’s wheel, fired in their kiln, hand-painted, and trimmed in liquid gold. You can learn more about the studio and their process right here…it’s fascinating to see how each step is done by hand and in such a precise, detailed way.
