The Story Behind My Favorite Piece…with Kat of With Love From Kat

Today I’m happy to present another guest post where a favorite blogger of mine will be sharing the story behind her favorite decor item. This series was inspired by Nate Berkus’ The Things That Matter, a lovely coffee table book centered around the idea that the things in our lives tell the story of who we are, and what we care about. Today Kat Tanita of With Love From Kat is here to share the story behind her favorite piece! I’m so happy to have Kat on the blog today, as her site is one of my favorite daily reads. She has amazing style and decor sense, as you can see in her outfit posts and her home tour on The Glitter Guide

This Creed perfume (silver and pink top) is significant to me because my boyfriend gave it to me on our first anniversary. He always gets me another bottle on a special occasion when I run out! I love it because it smells amazing (it’s won several fragrance awards!) and reminds me of my love. It also reminds me of summer – it’s a very light, crisp scent that I always spritz on when it starts getting hot outside! I think about Nantucket nights – bike rides around the island, my toes in the sand and all of the hydrangeas that grow over white picket fences.

Thank you so much for being a part of this series Kat!  What a lovely scene her description evokes – especially with the frigid temperatures outside currently! It gives me hope that spring will be here…eventually 🙂
