Serena and Lily Beach Market

Lately I’ve started to become more obsessed with Serena and Lily. My Mom has long been a big fan of the brand, and I guess it’s starting to rub off on me! It all started with the sheets that she and my Dad got me for my birthday. At first I was like, yeah these sheets are cool. But as time went on, I found myself using them more often than not…basically washing them and then putting them right back on my bed, because they’re SO, SO soft! They’re definitely of a noticeably higher quality than other sheets.
Being that we both love the brand, it was only natural that the Serena and Lily Beach Market in Wainscott was first on the itinerary for my Mom and me when I was on Long Island this past week. It’s such a gorgeous store with a perfectly relaxed, beachy vibe. I’ve never pined for a beach house before, but as I walked around I found myself mentally decorating a home by the water with their neutral patterned blankets, soft sheets, cozy chairs, rattan furniture, crisp scented candles, coffee table books…the list goes on (clearly).
That painting they have to show their swatches? Love!
This tray is Per. Fec. Tion! Seriously…where’s my beach house? This would be the first item to grace its rooms.
These classic bistro chairs could be the stools at my beach house’s kitchen counter. These are fantastic and the chair versions are very common to see as the outdoor seating around NYC’s restaurants.
These Turkish towels have a great patriotic vibe with the red white and blue, but in a totally laidback, non-cheesy way.
Um, yes. This cottage bar cart will be right at home in my fictional beach house. In fact, the name made me realize I’d be more comfortable actually with a beach cottage, rather than a beach house. That’s not so much to ask for, now is it? Sounds cozier anyway.
This room was so inviting in person. I love the cooshy chair….look at how deep it is! You could sink right into it with a throw blanket and a great book. The rattan coffee table, the barcart, the bookshelf with the open sides…so much good stuff. The bookshelf is so light and airy, and the shelves are rattan, giving it a perfect beachy look.

They have tons of gorgeous original art, both in the store and on their site.

Even the flowers (and wallpaper) in the bathroom were colorful and gorgeous.

Black and white striped outdoor furniture…love! Always a classic.

The Serena and Lily Beach Market is located in Wainscott, Long Island. It’s definitely not to be missed if you’re in the area!

I love the tray! I actually pinned it for future inspiration. 🙂 I've never bought anything from them, but I love the style and beachy vibe.

  2. This store looks dangerous! I feel like I would want everything and find a roundabout way to justify why I absolutely have to have it. Especially that cozy chair!

    • Haha so true…if I had room for any of that furniture I definitely would have found a way to justify buying it!
