Quarterlane Books

Remember a few months ago when I mentioned quarterlane in a Friday links post? It’s such a fun concept for book lovers – each quarter they curate seasonal boxes of hand-picked new releases and beautifully package them up along with other small bookish delights. They also collaborate with an artist each season and a special edition art print is part of each box.

I wanted to give you a closer look at a Winter 2016 box that they sent me – and let you know that their Spring 2017 boxes launch today! This time they collaborated with artist Helen Dealtry and the print included in the spring boxes is so perfectly colorful and evocative of the season. The box pictured here is from when they collaborated with another favorite artist of mine, Caitlin McGauley. As soon as I saw the adorable limited edition print they were including in the Winter boxes I knew I had to have it! quarterlane-books-6158quarterlane-books-6163

My box included a sleek Sloane Stationery notebook and Obvious State wine tote, along with a custom Juniper Books set of the popular Neopolitan novels by Elana Ferrante. quarterlane-books-6225

This lovely set is available in the quarterlane Juniper Books box.

A one-time box or a subscription to quarterlane would be such a nice gift for any bibliophile. Not only is it just a fun idea, but everything about quarterlane is so well-done, from the photography on their site to the branding and especially their blog, where they interview artists and authors, do a fun “what’s on your nightstand” series, and give sneak peeks of upcoming seasons. There are lots of subscription boxes out there nowadays, but I think quarterlane stands head and shoulders above the rest!

  2. That print is so pretty! What a cute idea + unique, too! I feel like there’s no other subscription boxes out there like it.

Oooo, I need to check out this subscription box! Also, I love the custom covers for the Elena Ferrante novels (they’re so much better than the real covers, in my opinion!).
