Photo Essays: Christmas on the Upper East Side

One thing I love about the Upper East Side? Store owners and residents really get into decorating for the season. There are beautiful flowers and window boxes in spring, pumpkins and ghouls galore in October, and now, for the holidays, every home and store is decked out to the nines in wreaths, ribbons, and greenery. I had a great (albeit chilly) time walking around this past weekend and taking in all the festive decorations, trying to stay warm with hot chocolate from the adorable cocoa cart outside The Mark Hotel.
