Carin Olsson is an insanely talented photographer, so it only makes sense that her Instagram account would be absolute perfection. She has an amazing eye, and that combined with the fact that she lives in probably the most photogenic city in the world, well…it’s a recipe for Instagram perfection if I ever heard one! Carin’s pictures are always well-composed, light, and bright, with a sophistication and understated femininity that I find very appealing. I like that most of her photos aren’t “composed” shots, but rather things that catch her eye while at restaurants, out for coffee, or exploring her amazing city.
Sarah Tolzmann is an art director for Ralph Lauren, and her brilliant eye for design and all things stylish is readily apparent in her Instagram account. I love her evocative, elegantly shot and beautifully edited New York city shots, and I also love seeing glimpses into her charming and sophisticated Upper East Side apartment. I find her style extremely inspiring – it’s grown-up and timeless, but still fun. I appreciate that she focuses on natural vignettes and things that catch her eye while out and about, rather than styled shots.
Alyssa Kapito and Vivian Muller, the designers behind NYC-based Kapito Muller Interiors, have a gorgeous and inspiring interior design aesthetic, which is well-represented in their Instagram account (I love their work so much that I interviewed them for the blog, as you may remember!). As you can see, they have cultivated a clean, warm, sophisticated aesthetic which is reflected both in their Instagram feed, and in their design work. I absolutely love seeing peeks of their current projects, their chic office space, and their comings and goings around NYC. They take wonderful shots of Upper East Side doors, stoops and architecture (which I love), and also: they take the BEST #shelfies 🙂 They have excellent taste and a great eye for chic design, and seeing their well-lit, crisp, and beautiful photos pop up in my feed is always a pleasure.
