Every year the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute has a fashion exhibition with an interesting and creative theme, preceded by the Met Gala. The best one I ever saw was the Alexander McQueen exhibition, but they’re truly worth seeing every year! The Institute also often has a smaller scale fashion exhibition each fall.
