The other day my Mom and I headed to Bridgehampton to check out the 2015 Hampton Designer Showhouse. Each year a select group of designers decorate a large Hamptons house, with proceeds benefitting Southampton Hospital. This year the house definitely did not disappoint – as always, it was full of coastal accents, cozy linen couches, captivating details, and more. Read on to see my favorites!
This is the back of the house – you can see the terrace up top that you reach through the master bedroom. The house this year was dubbed a “modern barn” – architecturally, it felt a little cozier and a lot more low-key than most of the past houses (which was great).
I loved the dining room by Barbara Page Home, which was luxe, but comfortable. Not too over the top, which I appreciate! The Parsons dining table adds a modern touch.
The walls were a gorgeous blue grasscloth – grasscloth is always a very popular choice at the showhouses. I love the chinoiserie bookshelf – such a unique piece.
This cool wall decoration was above the front door in the foyer.
Great large scale piece of art in the stairway.
I love the unique shape of this settee, in the entrance hall by Elissa Grayner Interior Design.
Another unique piece – this awesome side table.
Several designers used these round hourglasses with fun colored sand inside – the hot pink was my favorite, of course!
One of my favorite spaces was the main living room by Patricia Fisher Design. I like how the coffee table looks like a Parsons table, but with tapered legs.
Just such a fantastic rug.
Such a wonderful side table! I love it.
Another cool side table – I like the wishbones too.
A great alternative to the classic bar cart.
A lovely little seating area – that chair fabric is gorgeous linen and I love the beige border. I also LOVE that little detail where there’s a space under the back for the cushion to tuck into. I always think chairs look a little weird when the cushion is sitting on the seat and it’s oddly fat, and this brilliant little detail eliminates that. I’ve never seen that before and I’m definitely into it.
Quite the specific little side table there! Also, you can see the triple border around the rug – love.
Cool lucite table with tapered legs.
I love the art above the fireplace and the unique and sophisticated X benches in front of the fireplace.
Here’s a view of the gorgeous living room curtains from the sitting room – I am obsessed with these curtains. So simple but chic!
Cool chair in the kitchen by Marlaina Teich Designs.
A doggie pagoda for the most pampered of pups!
Such a cool mirror in the powder room.
Love these little rattan glass covers – perfect touch for a beach house.
Super cool piece of lollipop art.
That does it for the first floor and basement level…check back on Monday for the second floor, outdoor space, and details from my favorite bedroom. Have a great weekend!
Such a beautiful showhouse! So many ideas and it’s full of inspiration. I’m obsessed with those curtains too; they are so chic. Thanks for sharing!
Are you kidding me? Must. Get. Doggie Pagoda. Now!
I love the little side table! So cute 🙂
