Pink in the Kitchen

Many years ago, my love of both baking and the color pink inevitably produced in me a desire to own a pink Kitchenaid stand mixer. Over the years, this desire has been stoked by the plethora of images featuring my beloved stand mixer, styled to perfection in beautiful, charming kitchens. Exhibit A: the Swarovski crystal encrusted mixer at Georgetown Cupcake featured on The Everygirl:

In Amanda Dawbarn’s open shelving, as seen on The Glitter Guide:

Then I noticed that the mint color was pretty gorgeous too (I love mint accents in a kitchen).

With it currently being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, there’s no better time than now to invest in the Pink for the Cure Kitchenaid stand mixer, in either hot pink or the classic (and my favorite), pastel pink.

i want a hot pink one so bad. but i am probably going to end with another white one or a navy one. downside of knowing you are going to live with a boy one day, i can't make everything pink.

  5. Yes! Love the pink accessories for the kitchen. Also love mint! I have the turquoise Kitchenaid Mixer but I wish I would have went with the pistachio/mint one in that photo!

    Happy weekend Jackie! xo

  7. Exactly, you're right…I know if I do invest in one, I should go with something neutral/timeless like white-but I just have my heart set on the pink!
