This month I realized I needed some new plaid shirts, as my old ones were getting kind of..ill-fitting, shall we say. I wound up getting this one from Madewell in addition to this one and this one from J. Crew. Unfortunately the one I’m wearing here is sold out online :(, but call around to your local stores if you like it. I love the colors and the pattern of the plaid (tartan? I need to read Victoria’s post again) – at first I thought maybe it was too Christmas-y looking and wouldn’t be appropriate in, say, October…but I think it’s actually fine. It’s turned out to be useful already – I wore this outfit to Courtney’s Color Me Cookies holiday party, since we were encouraged to dress festive. Then I paired it with my OTK boots because I kind of just don’t wear anything else anymore. The boots are so comfortable and they just seem to look better with everything than any of my other boots or flats.
