Life + Links

This week, I:

-Mailed in my Unit 4 project (lighting schemes) for my design course.

-Started working on my Unit 5 project, in which I’m designing a living room, dining room, and bedroom. It’s a challenge but so much fun.

-Finally decided on my bedroom paint color (stay tuned!)

-Did some online furniture browsing (and I promise to share apartment updates soon!).

Best of all is what I’m doing this weekend…a trip to Newport to visit the Coastal Living Idea House that I’ve been talking about non-stop! I’m sooo excited – follow along on Insta as I’m sure I’ll be sharing a ton. I’ve never been to Rhode Island, and I’m really excited to get out of the city for a minute and take in some coastal charm.

Some links for your weekend – hope you have a great one:

Sam did an amazing job making the most of a teensy tiny space!

Ooh – Liberty of London created a line of furniture for Anthropologie! (debuting August 14).

Loved reading this profile of my new favorite artist (we’ve been chatting a bit on Instagram and she’s seriously the sweetest, not to mention crazy talented!).

Wish I could go here!

I’ve had my eyes out for a light topper for spring (random, I know) and I think this is the winner.

I love the collected, un-decorated vibe of interior designer Jenny Wolf’s charming Cobble Hill townhouse.

A French marketplace in NYC.

One Kings Lane is sharing a behind-the-scenes peek at how their new furniture pieces are constructed (perfect for anyone who enjoyed this post!).

When I attended an event with Viking Books recently this literary thriller was getting all of the buzz, and the Times just gave it a great review.

The best macarons in Paris (you’ll want to read this just for the the pictures alone – so pretty!).

The photos above are available as prints in my Etsy shop here, and here!

I do too! Some of these are available other places than Paris, lucky for those of us who don’t have a trip on the horizon!
