An Exciting Week!

Guys, this week was kinda crazy – in a great way! Lots of fun stuff. On Monday I tried out UrbanSpace Vanderbilt with a few friends after work, and OMG – you gotta go. So much good food all in one place, but not overwhelming, like some other food markets can be, and I literally wanted to try each and every vendor (no filler places here). However, you simply MUST get a pretzel from Sigmunds…they’re soft, hot, fresh, delicious versions of those New York City street pretzels, and well, they were so good I ate two. Eek!

On Tuesday I had a really exciting meeting about a possible interior design internship which would basically be a dream come true – so excited and hope to share more if/when it all works out! Fingers and toes crossed!

Then yesterday I met my Instagram friend Brooke IRL for the first time, which was so fun…then I popped over to Voltz Clarke Gallery to check out their new exhibition called Manic Prints; striking large-scale floral photography by Nancy Richardson. You can check it out on my Insta stories if you’d like! (you’re going to want to see these pieces, they’re amazing).

Other things: tried Hello Fresh and loved it, stopped by my coworker’s apartment and was thrilled to discover she has two cats and a dog, so, day made, and in addition, can we talk about The Handmaid’s Tale? So. Good.

Whew! Jam-packed week (for me, anyway).

This weekend I’ll be plugging away on my interior design course, getting a facial at Heyday and brunch with a friend, then attending my aunt’s book signing at Shakespeare and Co. She wrote the most adorable children’s book about her rescue cat Bela, which you can purchase here – all proceeds go towards helping feral cats.

Hope you guys have a great one and forgive the lack of links this week – they’ll be back next week! xoxo
