A Few Good Links

This week I discovered the joys of walking an adorable little puppy (as you may have seen on my Insta stories), continued on the Hello Fresh train (let me know if you’re interested in hearing/seeing more about that either here or on Stories), and mulled a lot of things over (hashtag vague). I’m kind of in a place right now where I feel like my mind is going a million miles a minute with ideas, but I’m not able to take any concrete action because I’m waiting on various things…which is frustrating. Patience is not my virtue. But, I have lots on my plate and should just focus on the things I currently can control and need to check off my to-do list…like my design course, which is still going great. In the last unit we were introduced to English furniture styles, draperies, and lighting, and the next project is to create a lighting plan for three different rooms.

This weekend I was lucky enough to snag a reservation at ABC Kitchen – their spring menu is back and that means I am a very happy camper. Also heading off to a baseball game with my Dad on Sunday. Whatever you’re up to, I hope you have a great one! Here are some weekend reads for ya:

I’ve mentioned before my excitement about Lindsey Tramuta’s book The New Paris – here’s a beautiful video teaser.

I LOVE this chic candleholder (in both colors).

I’ve been the worst lately at drinking water – thinking this could help!

My friend Sarah has amazing taste and she highly recommended this book – seems perfect to take along on my Paris trip later this month.

Makeup as art.

I want to wear this all summer with a slouchy white v-neck tee.

1st dibs shared some great tips on using pink in a sophisticated way.

I love the graceful lines of this chair.

Obsessed with the super chic detail on the back of this bomber jacket.

These look so light and airy for summer.

A fascinating look at how digital prints are made into wallpaper and fabric.

The One Kings Lane San Fransisco Design Studio is so gorgeous.

This would be a great little sofa for a tiny studio apartment (such as my own and everyone else’s in NYC).

I have a less-than zero-interest in wedding dresses, but after photographing Viktor and Rolf Bridal in 2016 I was delighted to come across their 2017 bridal collection. It. Is. STUNNING.
