A Few Good Links

In between work and jaunts to Central Park to enjoy the lovely weather, I spent this week working on the itinerary for the Paris trip with my family at the end of May. Using the amazingly detailed recs that Meghan was kind enough to send over, I created a Google map where I inputted tons of possibilities – then I turned each one into an icon so you can tell what it is (coffee shop, restaurants, museums) at a glance. I even color-coded a little (by which I mean I turned my favorite ideas into a pink icon)…so everyone knows what the top priorities are :). This makes it super easy to tell at a glance which things are near each other, which I always find super helpful when traveling.

One top priority – the rooftop of Printemps, where you can enjoy a killer view overlooking the whole city (dying), and Poilane, which Ina Garten has named her favorite croissants in the city. Making plans is getting me so very excited. If any of you are planning Paris trips, I highly recommend emailing Meghan – her recommendations have been amazingly helpful.

Hope you all have a great weekend, and here are some weekend reads for ya:

A gorgeous West Village apartment.

OMG I need this book.

Love the tassel detail on this pretty spring dress (plus the pockets).

This rainbow striped umbrella is so cheery for a rainy day!

I love the mix of patterns and colors in this guest bedroom designed by Bailey McCarthy.

This bomber jacket looks cute and comfy.

Adore this floaty white top.

Constantly blown away by my incredibly talented friend Will. He was just named one of Forbes’ Top Influencers of 2017 and was profiled in the New York Times recently…plus he’s one of the nicest people I’ve met through blogging. Go Will!

All about my dream couch.

Love the ruffled sleeve detail on this easy tee.

As a huge fan of Common Good (their soaps are all-natural and smell wonderful), I was psyched to see they’ve launched at-home refills.

Awesome, I will definitely write about that! I’ll try to get a tutorial up next week. It took me a little while to figure out but once I did, it’s so easy. Stay tuned 🙂
