A Few Good Links

I hope you all had a great (short) week! The highlight of mine was attending a book signing and reading at Book Culture on the Upper West Side for Lucinda Rosenfeld’s newest novel, Class – which received a great review in the Times Book section. It’s a satirical (or not, depending on your perspective) look at class and gentrification in a stroller-heavy liberal enclave of NYC (cough, Brooklyn, cough) – and I’m excited to dive into it.

After the reading my sister and I went searching for a restaurant and stumbled upon Spring, right up the block from the bookstore. Popping into a restaurant blindly in New York is a crapshoot, but we got really lucky – I highly recommend this place if you find yourself in the neighborhood. It was spacious and the food was both healthy and really delicious (but it wasn’t like, obnoxiously healthy, if you know what I mean).

In case you need some light distraction today (ahem), here are some fun links for ya:

This post is getting me so excited for (maybe) Copenhagen!

You’ve probably seen it already, but this made me crack up.

When two of your favorite people to follow on Instagram get together and write/photograph a book about Paris, you just know it’s going to be amazing. So excited and glad this is coming out before my trip!

These candles are so pretty – I checked them out in person at the Putnam and Putnam pop-up in Club Monaco last weekend, and Opus smelled so good.

I’m not one for design “trends,” but I love Jacquelyn’s predictions for what will be popular this year – each element feels current, but also classic enough to stand the test of time.

Anyone else have shelves and shelves of those yellow Nancy Drew hardcovers while growing up? This is an interesting read for fans of the series.

Loving a lot of the pieces in this art edit.

The best book covers of 2016.

These are my new favorite tees – perfectly slouchy. Can’t wait to live in these this summer.

I loved Meghan’s list of the most Instagram-worthy spots in NYC – added a lot of these to my must-visit list!

YUM. Must make this immediately as I am a big fan of the original!

Such an impressive makeover of a lackluster, generic living room. The end result is light-filled, fun, and colorful.

Loved seeing a new peek into Kate and Andy Spade’s amazing art collection and beautifully eclectic home.

Kate’s pictures from Italy are, as always, magical – I need to go.
