A Few Black Friday Finds

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Now that the big meal is over and thanks has been given, it would appear that the holiday season is officially upon us. In that spirit, I’ve put together a small round-up of some items that are on Black Friday sales – some that are on my wishlist, and others that I already own and definitely recommend. Read on to check it out!

Rifle Paper Co. (one of my favorite brands of all time) is holding a Black Friday sale of up to 30% off sitewide (no code necessary). This includes their cheery art prints, the beautiful Puffin in Bloom books, 2015 calendars (these would make SUCH a nice gift), their festive and unique holiday gift wrap, and much more.
Kate Spade is 25% off sitewide with code HOLLYJOLLY, which is pretty awesome because they have so many wonderful gifts. I would love to find the gold glitter coasters and the polka dot glasses under the tree for myself! The Things We Love coffee table book would make such a great present for anyone in your life who’s a girly girl or a lover of design or colorful things. I’ve blogged about my love for this adorable little mail tray before – again, I think that would make a lovely gift. And those heels are just my fantasy shoe. I’m absolutely enchanted by them and always have been.
I think Anthropologie is one of the best places to get gifts (I should know…I’m often in there buying gifts for myself :). They’re having 25% off for one day only with code HOLIDAY25. I’ve loved these gold-rimmed, pink tinted glasses for a while now ever since seeing them in store – they’re just so delicate and pretty. As for this candle snuffer set, I think it would make such a cute gift just because it’s the type of thing you probably wouldn’t buy for yourself. My gold initial mug is one of my favorite things ever (and only 10 bucks!). What a cute gift it would be along with this book!

J. Crew is having a 30% off sale with code HOLIDAY, and they have a lot of good gifts right now. I think these ornaments are absolutely adorable and perfect for any stylish Christmas tree. I definitely want them! And these totes. My sister just got this red one, and I can attest to it being much more gorgeous in person than it even appears in pictures – the moment I saw hers I totally wanted it. It’s just the perfect shade of muted lipstick red. The navy tote I think is just great – the gold stripe gives it just that little something extra. I’m also a big fan of J. Crew’s sleepwear – I love these drapey straight-leg sleep pants and this plaid flannel sleep set – so cozy.

If you’re a blogger, a small business owner, or are thinking of starting a blog, you should definitely know about the B Bar. They offer easy to digest e-books on subjects that we all need to know about such as SEO, monetizing your blog, blogging basics, and tons more. Right now they’re offering 20% off your purchase through December 1st with code THANKS20. I’ve read a bunch of the books and found them to be super helpful and informative, so I highly recommend!

So many things from Loren Hope are on my wishlist! Check out the lookbook to understand why – all of her baubles just look so sophisticated and fun when stacked together. I’m loving the Sylvia necklace, the gunmetal Sarra cuffs, the Lucile necklace, and the Alex cuff. Right now it’s 20% off sitewide with code THANKFULLY.

I have like, six items in my Everlane shopping cart right now (including a few of their new cotton tanks, which I’m psyched to try out). But I’m glad I’ve waited until Black Friday to hit “purchase” – and not because they’re having a sale. Instead, they’re funneling profits from all Black Friday sales back to their silk factory in China, where the money will go towards improving the lives of the workers. Everlane just continues to impress me not only with their products, but with the innovative and unique things that they’re doing in terms of pricing, transparency, and factory conditions. I’m definitely happy to support such an amazing company! I’ll be getting another one of their boyfriend sweatshirts, and I actually already did purchase the chunky knit cardigan about a week ago – I couldn’t take it off last night while I was in my chilly apartment! SO soft and cozy, like wearing a big warm blanket.

I just love this Hand Painted Brushstroke Lamp from Jana Bek design – and her site is 20% off today with code THANKS20.

This faux fur throw has been on my wish list for about a million years now (only a slight exaggeration). Pottery Barn is having 20% off right now with code GOBBLE, so I’m hoping this winds up under the Christmas tree for me!

And here are some items that I love from posts past, which are currently on sale:

Madewell is offering 25% off your entire purchase with code GIFTON, which means you can pick up a Transport Tote like my black one for a much better price than I paid! It’s the most useful and versatile bag that I own. Shopbop is currently offering up to 25% off with code GOBIG14 – a great time to scoop up this ruffled Clu Too sweatshirt or an investment item like the Stuart Weitzman 5050 boots (which I’ve scarcely taken off since purchasing!).

In case you missed Wednesday’s outfit post, this Aritzia dress is currently on sale!

These rip and repair jeans at Madewell are currently 25% off – a great time to stock up if you’re in need of new denim! I also have and love the black and gray iterations.

Sugarfina is offering free ground shipping on orders of $50 or more – this is actually a really good deal because typically when I’ve ordered from them, the shipping has been rather pricy (since it comes from California and it’s perishable and all). You ALSO get a free small cube of champagne gummies on orders of $50 or more, which is awesome (they’re so good). Order a bento box as a holiday gift for the person in your life who has a major sweet tooth! It’s absolutely adorable and such a perfect gift since typically it’s not something you would buy for yourself (except for me. I have, but I’m weirdly addicted to sweets and pretty packaging so that’s not exactly a surprise).

20% off on items from artist Inslee Fariss with code RAWR. You can pick up a gorgeous art print, some pretty stationery, or a 2015 calendar (like my old one above), which is essentially twelve gorgeous art prints!

30% off at Common Good with code HOLIDAY.

Jonathan Adler is 20% off site wide currently with code BLACKFRIDAY. This is the perfect place to pick up any holiday gifts you might need, like my beloved Muse D’Or candle. I also love this gold Champagne candle.

If you’re looking for coziness, my faux-sheepskin throw is available at Pottery Barn for 20% off with code GOBBLE. I also have the pillow and love the soft texture.

As my awesome reader Alaina pointed out, Ebates is currently offering double cash back when you order through them. I’ve written about Ebates before (on Black Friday the first year I started blogging, funnily enough!), and I still cannot recommend them highly enough. In case you’re not aware of how it works: you simply go to Ebates and click on the retailer that you’ll be shopping online from (Gap, J. Crew, etc – most retailers are on there). You’re redirected to the retailer’s web site and then you just go ahead and shop and buy like you normally would – nothing different to do. Then, Ebates gives you back a percentage of the money you spent (it varies per retailer – as mentioned, it’s currently double for Black Friday. It’s 10% for Nordstrom! If you’re making a big purchase like a winter coat or a pair of boots, think of how much you would get back – it’s pretty cool). At the end of the month you get a check from Ebates, just for shopping online the way you normally would anyway!

You can click here to get started! I feel like if you don’t use Ebates and you are shopping online, you’re just sort of leaving free money on the table. And full disclosure, the links I’ve provided to the site are affiliate links (meaning I would get $5 if you sign up and purchase through one of them). If you’re not comfortable with that, simply open a new tab and go directly to Ebates.com. And they’re not paying me to say this or anything, I just truly use and love the program (and have since before I started blogging). Happy shopping!

If you know of any other amazing sales, let me know in the comments! Enjoy πŸ™‚
